Let users turn off the onboarding state on the Projects page #9792

Description

The enhancement

Add a setting on the Configuration > Features page that lets users turn off the onboarding state on the Projects page. This setting only affects the Projects page layout when there is exactly one project in a space, and it has not been deployed yet. When the setting is on, the Projects page shows the onboarding state. When the setting is off, the Projects page shows the standard table layout instead.

Note:

  • This is an instance-wide setting. If one user changes the setting, it will apply to all users in the instance.
  • It does not affect any other onboarding behavior in Octopus.

The Need

Over recent years, we’ve received feedback from Octopus staff and customers that they would like the option to turn off the onboarding state on the Projects page. This new setting provides that flexibility.
