PTY Host Error when runing R code on MacOS

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Both

VS Code Version: 1.106.3
OS Version: Mac OS Tahoe 26.1

Steps to Reproduce:
Ran R code in VS Code
Code failed to complete, generated error message: "The connection to the terminal's pty host process is unresponsive, terminals may stop working. Click to manually restart the pty host."

Especially with large chunks of R code (does not happen in Rstudio or R terminal)

Clicks to restart, re-runs code, error arises again, but i lost all of my environnement
