ClassesShouldAdhereToShoppingExampleConsideringOnlyDependenciesInDiagram always true

If I reverse dependencies, add dependencies for non existent types in fact every change I make to my plant uml the adhereToPlantUmlDiagram.Check(Architecture) method always returns true.

I've even exported a diagam, manually reversed a dependency and re evaluated and test still passes.

Any ideas?

Hi @cgreen69, I've just tried reversing dependencies in shopping_example.puml and the test fails as expected. Could you describe what exactly you changed?

HI @alexanderlinne, thanks for taking a look. Like you, if I reverse the dependencies it does fail.

However if I remove customer from the order class hence no longer satisfying the [Orders] --> [Customers] rule the test still passes.

Have I misunderstood how this works?

Thanks for the example, I've had another look at it and how it's currently implemented, a dependency in PlantUML is interpreted as "Orders may but do not have to have a dependency on Customers". I haven't worked with PlanUML much, but I think it also only makes sense here, because otherwise each class in Products would have to have a dependency on each class in Customers, if there were multiple classes. I haven't found a syntax to express this.
