Description
What happened?
The Auggie TUI intercepts the Alt+D keystroke. Outside of Auggie, Alt+D deletes the word forward (standard terminal behavior in zsh/bash). Inside the Auggie TUI, pressing Alt+D does nothing — the keystroke is captured but no action is performed.
What did you expect to happen?
Alt+D should delete the word forward, consistent with standard readline/terminal behavior.
Steps to reproduce
- Start Auggie in a terminal:
auggie - Type some text in the input area, e.g.,
hello world test - Position cursor after "hello" (before "world")
- Press
Alt+D - Observe: nothing happens (expected: "world" should be deleted)

Anything else we need to know?
Other Alt/Ctrl key combinations tested work correctly:
Alt+B(word back) ✅ worksAlt+F(word forward) ✅ worksCtrl+D(delete char / EOF) ✅ works
Alt+D (delete word forward) does not work — it may be bound to an unimplemented or empty handler in the TUI. Other keystroke combinations have not been tested.
