Describe the Bug

The game always saves its configuration into ~/.config even if a different config directory is specified with the XDG_CONFIG_HOME environment variable.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. Run the game in an environment where XDG_CONFIG_HOME is set to something other than the default location
  2. Observe that configuration and save data is still saved/loaded into/from ~/.config

Expected Behavior

The program should follow the user's settings.
