Missing Hazards (Extreme Cold, Extreme Heat, Rain Storms)

While using the "/api/v1/planets" endpoint I noticed that no response ever mentioned the Extreme cold, Extreme heat, or Rainstorms
planet modifiers under the "hazards field". I cross referenced a couple other sources, like the Helldivers 2 Companion App as well, for example on 11/20/25 8:01pm, the Helldivers 2 companion app says there is Rainstorms on the planet CLASA. A request from your API at the same time did not reflect this. I have continued to make requests periodically over the last few hours to see if any of the three mentioned hazards would appear in the response and they never did.

I was curious as to if these three work differently than the other hazards (Tremors , Meteor Storms , Thick Fog , Volcanic Activity, Ion Storms , Acid Storms, Sandstorms, Blizzards, Fire Tornadoes)? If not are they included in a different endpoint?

AFAIK the API currently doesn't support these; but if you can help us by pointing out where we can get this information in the official API we could see about mapping them

Thank you for the response, you probably have more knowledge on the official API than me at the moment so I cant point you to anything in specific. I was just curious as to if this was intentionally omitted like they were classified as something other that environmental hazards or something, you have answered my question though!

I will keep this conversation in mind going forward though and definitely update you if I find out more about this from working with the official API.

For reference, you can view the responses of the official API under /raw endpoints.
You'll notice that the official API uses ID's for a lot of things; we created helldivers-2/json to maintain an open format so all third party apps can contribute to a single mapping source.

If the information you want is in one of those JSON files it's just a matter of figuring out where they need to map in the API, if they aren't in the JSON files it'll be a bit more work ;)
