Auto-generate audio files for preset uploads

I was thinking that if preset files were provided, it may be possible to automate the generation of these sounds. Maybe via something like Carla? https://github.com/falkTX/Carla

If a preset is uploaded, we could automatically run it through the plugin it is for to generate an audio file and then have it attached to the preset in metadata. Then we could delete the audio file requirement for users uploading plugins and just use the auto-generated preset audio files instead, saving tons of time.

Potentially this could be achieved in command line tools, loading an Audio plugin + a midi file to render the output.
But would required investigation to work. Sfz files could be rendered using sfizz_render

@baconpaul do plugins have a standardised preset loader API? is this issue do-able?

No

They have a daw stream api but there is no guarantee that the daw stream and the preset file are the same
