Corrupted Image on the SD card  #1

I emailed sysprogs, but maybe its better to also post here.
After nearly a decade of use, WinFlashTool has developed an issue for me. Probably related to the May Windows 10 update since before that it was fine.

I use the tool to download a RAW binary image file to an SD card for an embedded project. I noticed that code in the upper areas of the image was getting corrupted. This was with V1.xx, I updated to the latest V3.0 and still had the problem.

I tried two alternative tools both of which showed that both the image, the card, and the card reader were not the problem: cat command from Linux, and the Belena-Etcher card writer app in Windows.

So the problem is real and it's with WinFlashTool unfortunately. I hope you can fix it, as your tool was way way better than both those other options.
