Partially Submitted Save on Multiple steps change

Can we bring back Partially Submitted Workflows, it was there in Contour and it is still partially implemented but no longer works properly and the Backoffice UI does not mention it anymore. Please can we fix it/bring it back as it is needed for multistep forms.

Being able to save every step of a form and then resume that form at the point you "Partially Submitted" it would be a golden feature and was available way back in the day.

Hi @MagicMetaMike. I am not familiar with that feature, do you have an example of what that used to do that you can't do any more now?

FYI: we're not currently working on new features (even if they're old features) but it might be a good one for the future ideas list.

You have a feature called AllowEditableFormSubmissions. Being able to save a form in a PartiallySubmitted state, and then come back later to finish it off using AllowEditableFormSubmissions would allow for users to complete a long form over a number of hours/days.

As Mike said, this was a feature back in the days of Contour, and there is some code leftover from this in Umbraco Forms e.g. look at your FormState enum.
