I just had need to use a Due again and came back to this flash waiting issue. I can confirm these changes work for my Arduino Due! It looks like you've done what @shumatech suggested, so I will close #111 in favor of this PR. |

This is based on PR #111 but done in the way the author prefers (I hope). I'll adapt any further needed changes, please let me know what is needed.
